Retighten threaded joints.

/ 9-5 (9600) / 2001 / 1. Service / Saab Original Service, (USA/Canada) / Service / Retighten threaded joints.

Tighten the indicated bolts to the prescribed torque.

Warning

Never overload the bolts in a joint by tightening them harder than to the specified torque.

Front assembly

MacPherson strut, upper retaining bolts: 18 Nm (13 lbf ft).

Rear suspension

Important
Undo and retighten only one screw at a time.

Before retightening, the bolts must first be backed off slightly.

Subframe to body: 90 Nm (70 lbf ft) + 60°

Lateral link mounting to body: 90 Nm (70 lbf ft) + 30°

Retighten threaded joints.
