1.

Remove the battery cover, battery and battery tray.
|
|
2.
|
Disconnect the temperature sensor's cable.
|
|
4.
|
Remove the two bolts securing the cover.
|
Note
|
|
Place an oil pan under the transmission to collect the fluid that runs out.
|
|
|
5.
|
Unscrew the fluid temperature sensor.
|
|
1.
|
Screw the fluid temperature sensor in place.
Tightening torque: 25 Nm (18.5 lbf ft)
|
|
2.
|
Refit the cover and tighten the bolts.
Tightening torque: 25 Nm (18.5 lbf ft)
|
|
3.
|
Lower the car to the floor.
|
|
4.
|
Reconnect the fluid temperature sensor's cable.
Secure the cable in the clip on the transmission.
|
|
5.
|
Refit the battery tray, battery and battery cover.
|
|
6.
|
Fill with transmission fluid, Texaco Texamatic DEXRON III (7045 EU, TL1863 US), to the correct level.
|
|
7.
|
Set the right time on the clock.
|
