Type designation

The type designation of the transmission control module consists of two codes, each comprising two groups of characters as in the following example: RB 000012 (first group) and 6 06 (second group).

First code

RB=Transmission control module model, 000012=Serial number

Second code

6 = Year of manufacture (6=1996)

06 = Week of manufacture (calendar week)
