To remove


1. Remove the gearbox as described in 4. Manual Gearbox, Adjustment/replacement, Removing


2. Detach the delivery pipe.

3. Remove the slave cylinder's three retaining screws and withdraw the slave cylinder.


To fit



1. Apply Loctite 577 Part No. 74 96 284 to the retaining screws.

2. Screw the slave cylinder in place.

Tightening torque 10 Nm (7 lbf ft)

3. Fit the delivery pipe to the slave cylinder.

Tightening torque 22 Nm (16 lbf ft)

4. Bleed the slave cylinder before fitting the gearbox, see .

5. Fit the gearbox as described in 4. Manual Gearbox, Adjustment/replacement, Fitting

6. Bleed the clutch as described in .
