Threaded joints, retightening


Tighten the specified bolts to the prescribed torque.

Warning

Never overload the bolts in a joint by tightening them harder than is specified.


Front assembly

MacPherson strut's upper retaining bolts: 30 Nm (22 lbf ft)

Rear assembly

Important

Undo and tighten only one bolt at a time.


The bolts must first be loosened slightly before check-tightening.

Subframe to body: 100 Nm (74 lbf ft) + 45°

Longitudinal link mounting to body: 90 Nm (70 lbf ft) + 30°
