| Boot lid lock motor, 4D | 
| 1. | Remove the trim from the inside of the boot lid. US/CA cars: Push the emergency opening handle through the hole in the trim. | |
| 2. | Turn the clip securing the locking rod for the lock motor driver.   | |
| 3. | Remove the locking rod. | |
| 4. | Press out the centre pin in the driver and remove the driver. Let the driver hang on the locking rod to the key lock.   | |
| 5. | Undo the lock motor retaining screws and unplug the connector. | |
| 6. | Lift out the lock motor. | |
| To fit | 
 
   
   | 1. | Screw on the motor and plug in the connector. | |
| 2. | Fit the driver. | |
| 3. | Fit the locking rod to the lock motor driver. US/CA cars: Push the emergency opening handle through the hole in the trim. | |
| 4. | Fit the boot lid trim.   | |
