| 1. | Open the tailgate. | |
| 2. | Remove the hinge seals from the tailgate. | |
| 3. | Unscrew the tailgate from the hinges.   | |
| 4. | Adjust up (backwards) or down (forwards). | |
| 5. | Adjust sideways.   | |
| 6. | Tighten the screws. | |
| 7. | Fit the hinge seals. | |

   | 1. | Open the tailgate. | |
| 2. | Remove the side supports. | |
| 3. | Pull off the sealing strip far enough to access the covers. | |
| 4. | Certain cars
       
       : Remove the side covers. | |
| 5. | Certain cars
       
       : Remove the upper cover. | |
| 6. | Remove the D-pillar trim, roof cover, cargo net holders, clips and covers between the C and D-pillars.   | |
| 7. | Pull down the headlining slightly. Do not crease it. | |
| 8. | Undo the three screws on each hinge (one screw is on the inside). Tightening torque, screw, inside 20 Nm (14 lbf ft)   | |
| 9. | Adjust the tailgate by raising or lowering it. | |
| 10. | Tighten the tailgate. | |
| 11. | Hold up the headlining and fit the roof cover, D-pillar trim and covers between the C and D-pillars and the cargo net holders. | |
| 12. | Fit the cover in the tailgate aperture. | |
