Remove the gearbox, see Group 4 “Automatic transmission”

Remove the drive plate.
|
3. |
Use a screwdriver to prise out the old crankshaft seal with care.

Lubricate the sealing lips.
|
5. |
Fit tools 83 94 967 and 83 94 975 and then the seal. Use tools 83 94 967 and 83 94 975 to tap the seal in place. Make sure that the sealing lips are fitted correctly on the crankshaft.

Fit the drive plate, Coat the bolts with part No. (10) 74 96 292.
Tightening torque: 65 Nm (48 lbf ft) +30° |

Fit the gearbox, see Group 4 “Automatic transmission”
