The fuel pump is of the piston type and is PWM controlled with two positions, 4 Hz and 7 Hz.

When shorted to ground, diagnostic trouble code B0443 is generated.
In case of an open circuit or short circuit to B+, diagnostic trouble code B0447 is generated.
