Crankcase ventilation, 4-cyl.

Crankcase ventilation, 4-cyl.

The engine's crankcase ventilation is completely sealed. Ventilation consists of a nipple at the camshaft cover, from which a hose is attached to the hose between the mass air flow sensor and the turbocharger.

The hoses and their connections are sized to give proper evacuation of crankcase gases in the engine under all operating conditions. Crankcase gases are lead via the nipple in the camshaft cover to the hose between the mass air flow sensor and the turbocharger. There, the gases are blended with intake air and then burned up in the engine.
