Pipe from secondary air injection pump to valve

Cover the wings and note the radio code if applicable.
|
2.

Remove the battery cover, the battery with vent hose and the battery tray.
|
3.
|
Remove the engine cover.
|
4.
|
Remove the bypass pipe with valve.
|
5.
|
Unplug the connector for the temp/pressure sensor and remove the turbo delivery pipe.
|
6.
|
Raise the car and undo the turbocharger delivery pipe connection to the charge air cooler.
|
7.
|
Lower the car to the floor.
|
8.
|
Detach the hose from the SAI pump to the pipe and undo the pipe mounting.
|
9.
|
Undo the connections to the front and rear SAI valves.
|

Insert the SAI pipe and connect it to the rear valve. Check the connection.
|
2.
|
Connect the SAI pipe to the front valve and attach the pipe to its mounting. Check the connection.
|
3.
|
Connect the hose from the SAI pump to the pipe.
|
4.
|
Fit the turbocharger delivery pipe to the throttle body and charge air cooler.
|
5.
|
Raise the car and tighten the hose clip on the connection to the charge air cooler.
|
6.
|
Lower the car and tighten the hose clip on the connection to the throttle body.
|
7.
|
Plug in the connector for the temp/pressure sensor.
|
8.
|
Fit the bypass pipe with valve.
|
10.
|
Move the battery tray sideward away from the engine as far as possible. Fit the battery tray, the battery with vent hose and the battery cover.
|
11.
|
Set the clock and program the radio code where applicable.
