Temperature sensor, engine oil (559)

/ 9-5 (9600) / 2002 / 2. Engine / PSG 16 (D223L) / Adjustment/replacement / Temperature sensor, engine oil (559)

To remove

1.	Raise the car and remove the lower engine cover.

2.	Unplug the sensor.

3.	Place a receptacle under the engine.

4.	Remove the engine oil temperature sensor.

To fit

1.	Fit the engine oil temperature sensor with a new seal.

2.	Plug in the sensor.

3.	Fit the lower engine cover.

4.	Lower the car and top up with engine oil. See the recommendations in Lubricating system .

5.	Check the oil level. Top up as necessary.
