The radiator fan runs continually.

Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor Circuit. Short to Ground.
P0118
Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor Circuit. Short to B+ / Open circuit.

Conditions
The following conditions apply for this DTC:

|
P0117:
Signal on control module sensor input less than 0.2V for more than 0.6 seconds.

|
•
|
P0118:
Signal on control module sensor input more than 4.9V for more than 0.6 seconds.

Diagnostic help
The control module uses 0°C as a substitute value. Diagnosis for P0116 and P0196 is disengaged.
