Fault symptoms

•	CHECK ENGINE lamp on.

•	Loss of performance.

•	Limp home. Note Before starting fault diagnosis, see Erroneous generation of DTCs .

Conditions

The following conditions apply for this DTC:

•	There is a short to B+ (constant high) on the circuit between pin M24 on the control module and pin 4 on the EGR valve.
