Swirl Control Valve Circuit. Open Circuit.
P0661
Swirl Control Valve Circuit. Short to Ground.
P0662
Swirl Control Valve Circuit .Short To B+

Conditions
The following conditions apply for this DTC:

Open swirl throttle circuit.

P661:
Swirl throttle circuit shorted to ground.

P662:
Swirl throttle circuit shorted to B+.

Diagnostic help
The DTC may indicate an electrical fault in the swirl throttle circuit; a mechanical fault can be noticed as a loss of performance over 3500 rpm if the throttle is stuck in the closed position. If the throttle does not close over a longer period of time, fuel consumption can increase. In the event of a fault, EGR control is disengaged.
