The diagnostic trouble code is generated when an unauthorised attempt has been made to disengage the immobiliser or when there is a fault in the memory unit.

Diagnostic help
The control module is locked during a specific period of time whenever an incorrect code is entered. The duration of this period is extended for each incorrect attempt.
