Voltage Supply Group 3. Short to Ground.

Voltage Supply Group 3. Short to B+.

Conditions
The following conditions apply for this DTC:

P1638:
The power supply to accelerator position sensor 1 is shorted to ground. The output voltage is less than 4.8 V.
|
|
•
|
P1639:
The power supply to accelerator position sensor 1 is shorted to B+. The output voltage exceeds 5.2 V.
|
Diagnostic help
The engine speed has a fixed value of 1400 rpm. The car will not react to the accelerator as long as the fault persists.
