Procedure before turbo replacement, V6

1.

Raise the car and place a receptacle underneath it. Remove the lower engine cover and drain the oil through the drain plug on the oil sump. Refit the drain plug.

Lower the car and fill with oil to the MAX mark. The distance between the marks corresponds to a volume of 1 litre (1.05 qts).

3.

Start the engine and let it idle until the thermostat opens (radiator fan starts).
|
4.
|
Raise the car and drain the oil. Refit the drain plug.
Tightening torque: 25 Nm (19 lbf ft)
|
5.
|
Drain the oil filter through the plug on the bottom of the oil filter housing.
|
7.
|
Remove the oil filter and the O-ring from the cover of the oil filter housing.
|
8.
|
Fit a new O-ring and a oil filter in the cover of the oil filter housing.
|
10.
|
Fit the lower engine cover.
|
11.
|
Lower the car, fill with engine oil and fit the oil filler cap.
