Symptom: - Automatic wiper operation out of order. - Wipers do not work in manual mode. - Windscreen washer does not work.

Fault symptoms

- Automatic wiper operation out of order.

- Wipers do not work in manual mode.

- Windscreen washer does not work.

Diagnostic help

Check fuse 37 in the car interior and fuse 4 in the engine bay.

The following values can be read from DICE using the diagnostic tool:

-	Windscreen washer switch

-	Windscreen wiper parking position.

Checking the wiring harness

Jiggle the wiring harness at several points and in several directions to detect intermittent open circuits and short circuits. Note the reaction of the multimeter, test lamp or diagnostic tool during the check.

Check rain sensing wiper contact to windscreen.

If the automatic wiper operation does not work, check that the rain sensor is fastened properly to the windscreen and that both lock clips are hooked onto their mountings before performing fault diagnosis.
