Intermediate shaft bearing, V6 diesel

To remove


1. Place the intermediate shaft in a vice.


2. Remove the bearing retainer

3. Remove the small circlip.

4. Press the shaft out of the bearing using an hydraulic press, 87 92 210 Support, differential bearing and Press sleeve 87 90 859.


5. Press out the bearing with 87 91 311 Sleeve, bearing, driver shaft and 87 92 236 Support F35, fitting speed gear .



To fit


1. Press in the new bearing using Sleeve, driver shaft bearing 87 90 461.


2. Press on the intermediate shaft with 87 90 487 Sleeve, differential bearing .


3. Fit the circlip.


4. Fit the bearing retainer.

Tightening torque 10 Nm (7 lbf ft)
