Type designation for manual gearboxes is divided into 3 groups of characters as in the following example:
FM55 B01 A12345
The three character groups are separated by spaces and contain different information about the gearbox as specified below.

| Third group A12345: | 
Manual gearboxes have a 6-character designation which starts with a letter according to which line the gearbox was fitted on. Each number series consists of 5 digits.
