TCS/ESP function lamp
TCS/ESP function lamp |

The ESP function lamp is located on the left-hand side of the main instrument unit (in the tachometer). The lamp comes on when the ESP or TCS operate.
Function |
When the ESP or TCS function is activated, a bus message sent by the ESP control module lights up a lamp on the main instrument unit. The lamp extinguishes as soon as the function cuts out.
For the lamp to light requires both braking and a reduction of engine torque. This means that the system can in some circumstances function without the lamp lighting.
Diagnostics |
The function has no diagnostics.
