Cars in stock must be remedied before delivery.

A personal communication must be sent to the owners of cars already delivered requesting them to get in touch with the nearest Saab garage as soon as possible to have the nonconformity rectified.

Cars affected

Saab 9-5 year 2002 model within chassis number range 23000410 - 23002868

Background

The bolts that hold the rear bush to the suspension arm may have been exposed to welding spatter. This may have the effect that insufficient grip is attained when the suspension arm's rear bush is fitted.

Symptom description

Tools

To carry out the procedures described the following additional tools are required, which are not included in Saab's toolbox.

Threading die M14x2
