Parking heater





The parking heater applies B+ on ACC unit pin 3 when the coolant temperature by the parking heater outlet reaches 40°C. When the ignition is off, the following results:


• Air-mixing flaps controlled automatically according to the set temperature.

• Air distribution flap in defrost position for 25 min and then in defrost/floor position.

• Recirculation flap in the recirculation position when the temperature is below -10°C, otherwise fresh air

• fan current 6 A

• display shows only fan speed

• Manual selections can be made with all the buttons except OFF, ECON and rear window heating. If AUTO is pressed, the full display is shown.


The control module returns to normal as soon as B+ on pin 3 is interrupted or the ignition is turned to ON.

Adjustment

The ACC unit can be adjusted with the diagnostics tool to:


• put the air-mixing flap continuously in full heating position and the air distribution flap continuously in defrost position

• select another fan current

• select how long the air distribution flap stays in defrost position before defrost/floor is selected
