                     Read the safety and handling instructions for the Airbag (SRS) before starting work.

       | 1. | Turn the ignition key to the OFF position and remove it. 
 
 | 
     
    
   
   
    
     
      
       | 2. | Remove the airbag module, two plugs and two screws. 
 
   
 | 
     
    
   
   
    
     
      
       | 3. | Lift out the module and unplug the cable connections. 
 
 | 
     
    
   
   
    
     
      
       | 4. | Clean the surface from grease and dirt. Use
        
         93 160 920 Cleaner
        
        . 
 
 
         Fit the weatherstrip even with the interior edge as illustrated. Press in the weatherstrip securely.

            | 
              It is important that the weatherstrip sits tightly against the steering wheel cover so that air does not leak out.

       | 5. | Plug in the cables to the airbag module. 
 
   
 | 
     
    
   
   
    
     
      
       | 6. | Fit the module and its two screws. Make sure the strip does not poke out of the edges. Fit the plugs in the screw holes. 
 
 | 
     
    
   
   
    
     
      
       | 7. | Start the engine and check that the airbag lamp does not indicate a fault. 
 
 | 
     
    
   
   
    
     
      
       |  | • | If the lamp indicates a fault, the airbag system performs a fault diagnosis. 
 
 | 
     
    
   
   
    
     
      
       | 8. | Check the signal function.
