Front torque arm.

/ 9-5 (9600) / 2003 / 2. Engine / Basic engine, V6 diesel / Adjustment/replacement / Front torque arm.

To remove

1.	Raise the car and remove the lower engine cover.

2.	Remove the nut of the charge air pipe and the torque arm's front bolt.

3.	Remove the bolts of the exhaust pipe bracket.

4.	Remove the rear bolt of the torque arm and the bolts of the torque arm's bracket to the gearbox.

5.	Remove the torque arm.

To fit

1.	Fit the torque arm. Do not tighten the bolt.

2.	Tighten the bolts of the torque arm bracket. Tightening torque: 47 Nm (35 lbf ft)

3.	Fit the front bolt of the torque arm. Tightening torque: 90 Nm + 90° (66 lbf ft + 90°)

4.	Fit the bolts of the exhaust pipe bracket and the nut of the charge air pipe.

5.	Tighten the rear bolt of the torque arm. Tightening torque: 70 Nm + 90° (52 lbf ft + 90°)

6.	Fit the lower engine cover and lower the car.
