Symptom: CHECK ENGINE.
Loss of performance.
Turbo Position Sensor Circuit. Short to Ground/Open.

1636 or 1637 should not be detected.

Voltage on input falls below 0.15V for more than 2.1s.

The control module will continue to work with a substitute value from pedal position sensor 1. Boost pressure control switched off.

Voltage on input exceeds 0.15V for more than 2.1s.

Checking the wiring
Jiggle the wiring harness at several points and in different directions to detect intermittent breaks and short circuits. Observe the multimeter, diagnostic tool or test lamp during the check.
