| To remove | 
Make sure the tank is not more than 3/4 full. Drain the tank if necessary.
| 1. | Open the tank hatch and clean around the filler cap before removing it.   | |
| 2. | Raise the car slightly and remove the rear right wheel. | |
| 3. | Remove the wing edging and wing liner. | |
| 4. | Raise the car. | |
| 5. | Detach the vent device from the fuel filler pipe bracket with a screwdriver.   | |
| 6. | Unplug the connector. | |
| 7. | Cut both cable ties. | |
| 8. | Undo the hose clip at the tank and the vent pipe with tool 83 95 261.   | |
| 9. | Clean up. | |
| 10. | Undo the plastic screw securing the pipe. | |
| 11. | Extract the pipe slightly and remove the hose. | |
| To fit | 
| 1. | Fit a
        
         new
        
        hose to the filler pipe, tighten the hose clip.

| 2. | Make sure the filler pipe is clean and not damaged. | |
| 3. | Put the filler pipe in place and connect it to the tank. | |
| 4. | Fit a new plastic screw and tighten it. Tightening torque: 1.8 Nm (1.3 lbf ft) | |
| 5. | Tighten the hose clip on the connection to the tank. Tightening torque: 2.0 Nm (1.4 lbf ft) | |
| 6. | Connect the filler pipe vent hose to the tank.

| 7. | Secure the cable to the filler pipe with a cable tie. | |
| 8. | Fit the vent device to the filler pipe   | |
| 9. | Lower the car to a comfortable working height.   | |
| 10. | Fit the wing liner. | |
| 11. | Fit the wing edging. | |
| 12. | Fit the wheel. Tightening torque: 110 Nm (81 lbf ft) | |
| 13. | Lower the car to the floor. | |
| 14. | Refit the filler cap and close the hatch. | |
