Remove the upper engine cover
|
|
2.
|
Remove the bypass pipe with valve
|
|
3.
|
Unplug the connector to the pressure/temp sensor.
|
|
4.
|
Detach the turbocharger delivery pipe from the throttle body.
|
|
5.
|
Raise the car and undo the turbocharger delivery pipe connection from the charge air cooler. Leave the hose clip hanging.
|
|
6.
|
Lower the car and remove the turbo delivery pipe.
|
|
7.
|
Undo the hose connection to the front SAI valve by pressing together the clip and pulling back.
|
|
8.
|
Remove the bolt for the SAI valve (use a long 10 mm socket). Remove the valve.
|
|

|
Clean the sealing surfaces and fit the SAI valve with a new gasket.
|
|
2.
|
Connect the hose to the valve. Check the connection.
|
|
3.
|
Connect the turbocharger delivery pipe to the charge air cooler and throttle body.
|
|
4.
|
Raise the car, connect the turbocharger delivery pipe to the charge air cooler and throttle body. Tighten the hose clip on the charge air cooler.

5.
|
Lower the car and tighten the hose clip on the throttle body.
|
|
6.
|
Plug in the connector for the temp/pressure sensor.
|
|
7.
|
Fit the bypass pipe with valve.
|
|
8.
|
Fit the upper engine cover.
|
