Front silencer

| To remove | 
| 1. | Raise the car.   | |
| 2. | Loosen the nuts at the joint between the front and rear of the exhaust system. | |
| 3. | Remove the rubber mounting lock clips. | |
| 4. | Remove the two front rubber mountings and place, for example, the jack of the lift under the end of the pipe.   | |
| 5. | Remove the remaining rubber mounts and lower the exhaust system. | |

| If the system is divided before the last silencer, loosen the exhaust clamp of the rear silencer and divided the system there. |

| The rubber mountings can be lubricated with acid-free petroleum jelly to facilitate fitting. | 
| 1. | Fit the rubber mountings, lift up the exhaust system and fit it in place. Adjust the system so that it does not break/buckle or lie against anything. For cars with visible tailpipe: adjust so that the tailpipe is centred in the cut-out. | |
| 2. | Fit the rubber mounting lock clips. | |
| 3. | Fit the nuts at the joint between the front and rear of the exhaust system. Tightening torque: 22 Nm (16 lbf ft) | |
