Pump Camshaft Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction. Internal Fault.


Fault symptoms


• CHECK ENGINE lamp on.

• Limp home.

• Loss of performance.


Conditions

The following conditions apply for this DTC:


• No camshaft signal after 10 crankshaft signals.


Diagnostic help

The control module uses the speed from the crankshaft position sensor divided by 2 as a substitute value.

A DTC is generated if the timing chain is damaged.
