Clutch Switch Plausibility Error


Fault symptoms


• CHECK ENGINE lamp on.

• Cruise control inoperative.


Conditions

The following conditions apply for this DTC:


• When the status of the clutch switch does not changed for 25 gearchanges in succession.


Diagnosis is active above 35 km/h and 1500 rpm.

Diagnostic help

There may be a fault in the clutch switch circuit used by cruise control. Check also that the switches are free from mechanical faults with respect to fitting, etc.

Note

A fault in the control module female connector can cause a trouble code. Check the contact for a bent pin, oxidation and tightness of pins. See Difficult faults in PSG16 despite trouble code
