| Procedure before turbo replacement, 4-cyl | 
| Change oil and filter | 
| 1. | Raise the car and place a receptacle underneath it. Remove the lower engine cover and the drain plug. Drain the oil and refit the drain plug.   | |
| 2. | Lower the car and fill with oil to the MAX mark. The distance between the marks corresponds to a volume of 1 litre (1.05 qts). | |
| 3. | Start the engine and let it idle until the thermostat opens (radiator fan starts). | |
| 4. | Raise the car and drain the oil. Refit the drain plug. Tightening torque: 25 Nm (19 lbf ft) | |
| 5. | Lower the car and remove the upper engine cover. | |
| 6. | Unplug the EGR valve connector.   | |
| 7. | Remove the oil filter housing cover and take out the oil filter. Use a cloth or the like to catch any oil spill.

| 8. | Change O-rings.   | |
| 9. | Fit a new oil filter and tighten the oil filter housing cover. Tightening torque: 26 Nm (19 lbf ft). | |
| 10. | Plug in the EGR valve connector. | |
| 11. | Fill with engine oil as specified, see

| 12. | Start the engine and let it run until the oil pressure warning lamp goes out. | |
| 13. | Stop the engine and check the oil level after 2 - 5 minutes. Top up as needed. | |
