To remove |

Remove the
Side sill scuff plate
on the passenger side.

Remove the cover for the heating and ventilation unit (A).
|
3. |
Remove the lower section of the dashboard (B) under the glove box, 4 screws. There are clips in the front edge.

Unplug the connector for the floor lighting from the lower section of the dashboard.

5. |
Remove the clip (A) and fold away the mat.
|
6. |
Undo the two lower nuts (A) that secure the amplifier and only loosen the upper (B).

7. |
Lift the amplifier out and unplug the connector (C).

To fit |
1. |
Plug in the connector (C).

2. |
Align the amplifier and fit the nuts (A). Tighten the nuts (A, B).
|
3. |
Fold back the mat and fit the clip (A).

4. |
Fit the
Side sill scuff plate
on the passenger side.

5. |
Plug in the connector for the floor lighting.
|
6. |
Fit the lower section of the dashboard (B). There are clips in the front edge.

7. |
Fit the cover (A).

Physically, the Prestige amplifiers for 4D and 5D cars are the same in appearance and connectors, so that it is possible to connect an amplifier intended for a 5D car into a 4D car. The sound quality from the sub-woofer will not be satisfactory, however, as it will be driven too hard. In the other case, if an amplifier for a 4D car is fitted into a 5D, the sub-woofer reproduction will sound washy. |
