Remove the battery cover and the battery.

Remove the MAXI fuse board and place it to one side. Remove the battery tray.
|
|

Remove the upper banjo bolt
|
|
| 4. |
Raise the car.
|
|
| 5. |
Place an oil pan under the transmission to collect fluid spill.
|
|
| 6. |
Remove the banjo screws fro the transmission and plug the holes. Use e.g. plug, part no. 91 32 929, and seal, part no. 91 32 937.

| 7. |
Remove the upper oil delivery pipe.
|
|
| 8. |
Remove the lower banjo bolt from the radiator. Remove the hose.

Change the seals in the banjo bolts. |

Fit the lower hose loosely. Note the securement between the pipes.
|
|
| 2. |
Lower the car and fit the upper pipe loosely.
|
|
| 3. |
Raise the car and tighten the lower hose to the radiator.
Tightening torque 27 Nm (20 lbf ft) |

Fit and tighten the banjo bolts to the gearbox.
Tightening torque: 27 Nm (20 lbf ft)

| 5. |
Lower the car to the floor.
|
|
| 6. |
Tighten the upper banjo bolt.
Tightening torque 27 Nm (20 lbf ft)
|
|
| 7. |
Fit the battery tray, MAXI fuse board, battery and battery cover.
|
|
| 8. |
Fill with transmission fluid to the correct level. See

.

Set the right time on the clock.

|
