Solenoid SLT

inactive/active

The solenoid is controlled by the control module with a 300 Hz PWM signal. It is controlled by variations in current and is in the first instance dependent on the throttle position.

Solenoid SLT

Requested pressure

bar

The TCM calculates the desired value of hydraulic pressure which must be achieved by the valve. The value is the transmission system pressure. The value is controlled so that it is not higher than that which at the present time is required by the clutch or brake in the transmission.

Solenoid SLT

Requested current

mA

The TCM calculates the desired pressure value. The value is converted to required current. The value is the current which shall flow through the solenoid in order to achieve the correct pressure.

Solenoid SLT

Instantaneous current

mA

The TCM has calculated the solenoid current in order to achieve the correct pressure. The TCM then regulates the PWM duty cycle so that the instantaneous current is the same as that requested. The value is the instantaneous solenoid current.

Solenoid SLS

inactive/active

The solenoid is controlled by the control module with a 300 Hz PWM signal. It is controlled by variations in current and is in the first instance dependent on the throttle position.

Solenoid SLU

Requested pressure

bar

The TCM calculates the desired value of hydraulic pressure which must be achieved by the valve. The value is the pressure which is used by the torque converter. The pressure is modulated so that the input drive is fully or partially engaged or disengaged.

Solenoid SLU

Requested current

The TCM calculates the desired value of hydraulic pressure which must be achieved by the valve. The value is converted to required current. The value is the current which shall flow through the solenoid in order to achieve the correct pressure.

Solenoid SLU

Instantaneous current

The TCM has calculated the solenoid current in order to achieve the correct pressure. The TCM then regulates the PWM duty cycle so that the instantaneous current is the same as that requested. The value is the instantaneous solenoid current.

Solenoid SLU

The solenoid is energized via the control module with B+, depending upon accelerator position and vehicle speed.

Solenoid SLS

Requested pressure

bar

The TCM calculates the desired value of hydraulic pressure which must be achieved by the valve. The value is the pressure which is used for the clutch or brake currently engaged. The pressure is adjusted so that the accumulator function is obtained (not C1).
