Calibration of steering wheel angle sensor

The steering wheel angle sensor must be calibrated after working on the steering assembly and aligning wheel angles.

Note

|
The wheel alignment must be correct before calibration is carried out.
|
|
1.
|
Put the wheels straight ahead.
|
|
2.
|
Connect Tech 2 and select Programming - Steering wheel angle sensor. Follow the instructions displayed on Tech 2.
|
|
3.
|
Read and clear ESP trouble codes.
|
|
4.
|
Test drive the vehicle.
|
|
5.
|
Check for any DTCs that have been generated. If there are any DTCs present, refer to the respective code for fault diagnosis and procedure.
