Parking heater

1.	Undo the expansion tank filler cap.

2.	Raise the car.

3.	Remove the left-hand front wheel.

4.	Remove the left-hand front wing liner.

5.	Remove the splash guard.

6.	Remove the fog lights, if fitted.

7.	Undo the hose clips on the exhaust pipe and intake hose.

8.	Bend the exhaust pipe and intake hose aside.

9.	Unplug the connector and tape it over to keep dirt, etc. out.

10.	Remove the bolts from the side of the bracket/holder.

11.	Push the heater up and unhook the holder from the bracket.

12.	Undo the bolts and remove the heater from the holder.

13.	Pinch off the heater's coolant hoses, using two pairs of pliers 30 07 739.

14.	Detach the coolant hose from the water pump (at the heater). Note Pay attention to the routing of the coolant hoses.

15.	Unplug the water pump connector.

16.	Undo the fuel line hose clip.

17.	Plug the fuel line and collect any fuel spill.

18.	Undo the other coolant hose (out from the heater).

To fit

1.	Connect the coolant hose (out from the heater).

2.	Connect the fuel line and secure it with the hose clip.

3.	Plug in the water pump connector.

4.	Connect the coolant hose to the water pump (at the heater) Note Pay attention to the routing of the coolant hoses.

5.	Remove the pinch-off pliers.

6.	Place the heater in the holder and insert the bolts.

7.	Push the heater up and hook the holder onto the bracket.

8.	Fit the bolts on the side of the bracket.

9.	Fit the exhaust pipe and intake hose.

10.	Plug in the connector.

11.	Refit the fog lights, if any.

12.	Refit the left-hand front wing liner.

13.	Refit the left-hand front wheel.

14.	Refit the splash guard.

15.	Lower the car to the floor.

16.	Fill up with coolant. Close the filler cap.

17.	Start the engine, activate the heater and warm it up.

18.	Check the coolant level and coolant freezing point. Top up as necessary.
