Lower timing chain tensioner

/ 9-5 (9600) / 2004 / 2. Engine / Basic engine, 4-cylinder diesel / Adjustment/replacement / Lower timing chain tensioner

To remove

1.	Raise the car, remove the front right wheel and the cover inside the right wheel housing.

2.	Remove the lower timing chain tensioner.

To fit

1.	Replace the chain tensioner for the lower timing chain using a new gasket. Tightening torque: 60 Nm (44 lbf ft).

2.	Refit the cover and the wheel. Tightening torque: 110 Nm (81 lbf ft). Lower the car to the floor.
