Pressure release valve

To remove



1. Raise the car and remove the front right wheel. Remove the cover on the drive belts.

2. Remove the plug from the timing cover.

3. Take out the seal, spring and valve.


To fit



1. Clean all the parts and change them if necessary.

2. Position the valve, spring and a new seal.

3. Screw in the plug.

Tightening torque: 45 Nm (33 lbf ft)

4. Fit the cover on the drive belts and the wheel. See Wheels

Tightening torque: 110 Nm (81 lbf ft)

5. Lower the car. Check the oil level and top up if necessary.
