Front torque arm

To remove




1. Raise the car.

2. Remove the screws to the torque arm.


3. Loosen the screws on the gearbox bracket so the torque arm's rear screw can be removed.

4. Remove the torque arm.


To fit


1. Fit the torque arm with through bolts.

2. Tighten the gearbox bracket screws.

Tightening torque up to and including Vehicle Identification Number 73514478:

47 Nm (35 lbf ft)

Tightening torque from and including Vehicle Identification Number 73514479:

38 Nm (28 lbf ft)


3. Tighten the through bolt to the subframe.

Tightening torque: 90 Nm + 90° (66 lbf ft + 90°)

4. Tighten the bolt holding the torque arm to the bracket.

Tightening torque: 70 Nm + 90° (52 lbf ft + 90°)
