To remove


1. Remove the oil filler cap.

2. Raise the car and remove the lower engine cover.


3. Place a receptacle under the car and drain the oil filter through the plug on the bottom of the oil filter container.

4. Undo the cover on the oil reservoir with 83 95 808 Strap wrench for oil filter .

5. Take out the oil filter and remove the O-ring from the oil filter container cover.


To fit


1. Fit a new O-ring on the oil container cover and set a new oil filter in the cover.


2. Fit the cover on the oil reservoir with 83 95 808 Strap wrench for oil filter and refit the plug with a new gasket.

Tightening torque, plug 39 Nm (29 lbf ft)

3. Fit the lower engine cover.

4. Lower the car, fill with engine oil and fit the oil filler cap.
