Rear crankshaft seal

To remove


1. Remove the clutch, see Changing clutch assembly.

2. Remove the flywheel.


3. Remove the rear crankshaft seal using 83 95 733 Removal tool, rear crankshaft seal .



To fit


1. Fit the rear crankshaft seal using 83 95 790 Fitting tools, rear crankshaft seal . Check the distance between the rear end surfaces of the rubber seal, which should be 3.2 - 3.8 mm.


2. Fit the flywheel. Tighten the bolts alternately.

Tightening torque: 118 Nm (87 lbf ft)


3. Fit the clutch, see Changing clutch assembly .
