On-Board Diagnostics
Type of diagnosis:
-
Once per driving cycle.
Enable criteria:
-
Battery voltage should be 10.2-15.8 V.
-
P0102, P0103, P1636 or P1637 should not be detected.
-
Engine speed should be 1500-4500 rpm.
-
The mean value of 5 rpm measurements must not exceed a difference of 40 rpm.
-
Intake air temperature should be -40°C - +80 °C.
-
Injection quantity should be 10-60 mm
3
/C.
-
The mean value of 5 injections must not exceed 2 mm
3
/C and EGR flow is 0%.
-
The difference between the ambient temperature and the intake air temperature must be max 100°C.
-
No crankshaft position sensor faults.
Fault criteria:
-
The difference between calculated and actual air mass/combustion exceeds 30%.
Dependents:
System reaction to a fault:
-
The control module continues to work with a substitute value of 1200 mg/cyl for the mass air flow sensor. EGR control is switched off.
OK report:
-
Fault criteria not fulfilled.
