Type of diagnosis:
Enable criteria:

Battery voltage should be 10.2-15.8 V.
|

|
Engine speed should be over 1700 rpm.
|
-
|
Rpm changes between two measurements should not exceed a difference of 100 rpm.
|
-
|
The difference between two injections should not exceed 5 mm

/C.
|
-
|
Vehicle speed between 40 - 220 km/h.
|
-
|
Injection quantity should be 20-60 mm
3
/C.
|
-
|
Intake air temperature should be -20°C - +120 °C.
|
-
|
Atmospheric pressure should be 70-110 kPa.
|
-
|
P1636 or P1637 should not be detected.
|
-
|
These conditions should be fulfilled for 2.1 seconds before diagnostics run.

Fault criteria:

The difference between calculated and actual charge air pressure exceeds 48 kPa.

Diagnostic help
Fault diagnosis focuses on leakage in the induction system, the malfunction of the charge pressure sensor and mass air flow sensor, and leakage on the exhaust side between the engine and turbo.
