Use
AC Relay
Turn Ignition On
Processor control of the transistor that grounds the output to the relay.
During fault diagnosis. Checking control module output, electrical circuitry and actuator operation. When output is active, the solenoid clutch should engage. Otherwise, use a test lamp to find the faulty lead/component. The refrigerant circuit must also be OK.
Miscellaneous: Request from ACC/MPC must come before diagnostics are performed.
EGR Control Valve
Turn Ignition On
Processor control of the transistor that grounds the output to the EGR valve.
During fault diagnosis. Checking control module output, electrical circuitry and actuator operation.
Glow Request
Turn Ignition On
Processor control of the transistor that grounds the output to the Glow control unit.
Can be used to activate the glow plug control module during fault diagnosis. Check the system voltage while activating to make sure the glow plugs are really working.
Idle Speed
Engine running
A temporarily modified desired value for idle speed control. Engine speed can be modified between 40 rpm and 100 rpm in increments of 10.
Can be used to run the engine at any speed to detect noise, etc.
Boost Pressure Solenoid
Turn Ignition On
Processor control of the transistor that grounds the output to the solenoid valve.
During fault diagnosis. Checking control module output, electrical circuitry and actuator operation.
Fuel Pressure Solenoid 1
Turn Ignition On
Processor control of the transistor that grounds the output to the solenoid valve.
During fault diagnosis. Checking control module output, electrical circuitry and actuator operation.
Fuel Pressure Solenoid 2
Turn Ignition On
Processor control of the transistor that grounds the output to the solenoid valve.
During fault diagnosis. Checking control module output, electrical circuitry and actuator operation.
