To remove


1. Remove the upper engine cover.


2. Open and close the expansion tank cover to release excess pressure.

3. Detach the EGR valve connector.


4. Remove the EGR valve.

5. Fit 30 07 739 Hose clamp pliers on the EGR valve coolant hoses.

6. Detach the coolant hoses from the EGR valve.



To fit


1. Fit the coolant hoses to the EGR valve and remove the hose clamp pliers.


2. Clean the sealing surfaces and fit a new O-ring.

3. Fit the EGR valve.


Tightening torque 8 Nm (6 lbf ft).

4. Plug in the connector to the EGR valve.

5. Replace the upper engine cover.
