EGR Valve Actuator Defect. Internal Fault EGR.


Fault symptoms


• CHECK ENGINE lamp on.

• Limp home.

• Cruise control does not work.

• No EGR control.

• No boost pressure control.


Conditions

The following conditions apply for this DTC:


• Internal fault in EGR valve.


Diagnostic help

In the event of a fault, the EGR valve feedback signal is 80% PWM and boost pressure diagnosis is disengaged.

Diagnostic procedure

Change the EGR valve.
