Control module connections |
A simple means of checking whether the control modules are operative and allow diagnostics communication (column B) is given for each control module (column A) in the table below.
If the control module is not operative, check whether it is supplied with current and grounded (columns C-E).
Then check whether the control module is connected to the bus (column F) or the data link connector (column G).
Note | ||
Some control modules also have other power supplies and ground connections, but they are not necessary for diagnostics communication. |
