Boot lid lock motor, 4D

To remove



1. Remove the trim from the inside of the boot lid.

US/CA cars: Push the emergency opening handle through the hole in the trim.

2. Turn the clip securing the locking rod for the lock motor driver.


3. Remove the locking rod.

4. Press out the centre pin in the driver and remove the driver. Let the driver hang on the locking rod to the key lock.


5. Undo the lock motor retaining screws and unplug the connector.

6. Lift out the lock motor.


To fit



1. Screw on the motor and plug in the connector.

2. Fit the driver.

3. Fit the locking rod to the lock motor driver.

US/CA cars: Push the emergency opening handle through the hole in the trim.

4. Fit the boot lid trim.
